Daniel Maldini has said goodbye to Milan, who have a buy-back clause.
Maldini was not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans for the 2023/24 season, and after a loan spell at Spezia, where he played 19 games and scored 3 goals, the 21-year-old is now moving again.
Daniel has joined Empoli, where he will try to get consistent playing time. The official announcement arrived today:
“Milan announces the departure of Daniel Maldini to Empoli Football Club on loan, with the latter having an option to make the transfer permanent and Milan having a buyback clause. The Rossoneri wish Daniel all the best for the upcoming season.”
Daniel joins his father, Paolo, in leaving Milan this summer.
