As reported by Sky Germany, Bayern Munich bosses are set to fly to London as a deal for Harry Kane edges nearer.

Bayern are well underway, as their pre-season tour of Asia continues, however, some of the hierarchy at the club did not travel with the rest of the squad. This was so they could fly out to London today and meet with Daniel Levy in order to work on an agreement for striker Harry Kane.

The figures set to embark on the journey to England are CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe. There is a growing belief that a deal will be met this summer as the Rekordmeister are willing to spend €100m on their number one target.

It is important for Bayern to ensure a deal is sealed sooner rather than later, having already agreed a long-term contract with the England international. A recent €80m bid with €10m in addons was rejected by Tottenham, but the situation has changed significantly since then.

Spurs owner Joe Lewis has informed Levy that he is to sell their prized asset as a contract extension for the 30-year-old is looking increasingly unlikely. Despite previous offers falling short of the asking price, the imminent sale of Sadio Mané to Al Nassr could supply Bayern with the funds required to get the deal over the line.
