Manchester City should not waste their time trying to persuade Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala into moving to the Etihad, according to Bild.
The German tabloid claims that a “middleman” has been in contact with the 19-year-old’s representatives, stating that he could put them “in touch” with the Premier League champions.
Musiala is, however, reportedly keen to stay at Bayern. It is believed that he dreams of winning the Ballon d’Or whilst playing for the Bundesliga club.
A return to England in the future, though, cannot be completely ruled out for the teenager. He came through Chelsea’s academy and he was eligible for the Three Lions before he eventually decided to play for the country of his birth instead.
City boss Pep Guardiola is said to be a keen admirer of Musiala, with previous reports suggesting that he would like to bring him to Manchester but it appears the player will remain in Munich.
