Kicker reports Bayern Munich are working on a plan B in case their pursuit of Harry Kane falls through with Tottenham continuing to make negotiations difficult.

There are several options that Bayern are considering. One is to pursue Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani and the striker has been continually discussed at Säbener Straße. However, the striker has been linked with PSG and the €100m asking price from Frankfurt also makes Bayern reconsider.

Another option is to make Mathys Tel their main striker for this season. The 18-year-old has made a good impression during pre-season due to injuries to Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Müller but Bayern would like more experience at striker. In his first season at Bayern, Tel played 28 times and scored six with most of his appearances coming off of the bench.

Bayern are continuing to push for Kane having reached an agreement worth €100m for the striker but the 30-year-old must now make a decision on whether he wants to join Bayern.
