‘He might feel it’s not fair’ K. Srikkanth on Jasprit Bumrah
Srikkanth suggested that Bumrah might harbor regrets and hurt for staying with MI while the franchise celebrates players who left and returned. The former Indian skipper mentioned the possibility of the Ahmedabad-born cricketer’s perceiving the situation as unfair, given the attention bestowed upon others who rejoined the team.
“He must have been hurt. He must be feeling that he stayed back with MI but the franchise is now celebrating someone who left and came back. ‘You are making him the biggest thing on earth’. He might feel it’s not fair,” Srikkanth said, as quoted in a video on YouTube.
