Manchester City have “entered the race” to sign Wolves winger Pedro Neto, according to FootballTransfers.com.
The website claims that Arsenal were originally favourites for the Portuguese international but Pep Guardiola’s side have recently made contact with the player’s representative.
Fans on X are split on whether signing Neto is a good idea, with some suggesting that City should allow him to make the switch to the Gunners:

City would have some advantages over Arsenal in negotiations
With Neto’s agent already representing four current City players, including Ederson, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias and Matheus Nunes, there is a strong existing relationship that would help the Premier League champions get a deal over the line.
On top of that, the Cityzens have had successful recent dealings with Wolves themselves, having agreed to sign Nunes for £53m back in August.
Neto’s injury record is a concern
The winger has had a good season so far, having scored 1 goal and provided 8 assists in 11 appearances. However, he has spent almost two months on the sidelines with a hamstring problem this campaign.
Neto’s fitness has been a constant issue throughout his time at Molineux, having also sustained serious knee and ankle injuries over the past few years.
