PSV vs Arsenal live stream and match preview
Looking for a PSV vs Arsenal live stream live stream? We’ve got you covered.
The Gunners took control of their Europa League last week, as they ran out 1-0 winners against PSV in a rearranged fixture. Granit Xhaka’s goal was the only difference between the two teams at the Emirates Stadium, but Arsenal dominated the match and were worthy winners.
A few days later, though, Mikel Arteta’s men dropped two points in the Premier League with a 1-1 draw with Southampton. Arsenal came flying out of the blocks in the first 20 minutes and took the lead through Xhaka, but they gradually allowed their opponents to get back into the match.
Given how leggy Arsenal looked in the second half at St Mary’s, Arteta will be tempted to rest several key players on Thursday. Even if the Gunners were to lose in Eindhoven, they are guaranteed to finish top of the group if they beat last-placed Zurich at home on matchday six.
PSV must beat Arsenal to keep their hopes of an automatic place in the round of 16 alive. They currently trail Arteta’s side by six points, while a 4-2 defeat by Groningen at the weekend was certainly not ideal preparation for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side.
Arsenal will once again have to make do without Oleksandr Zinchenko, Emile Smith Rowe and Mohamed Elneny for this one. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, William Saliba, Ben White and Thomas Partey are among the players who could be rested ahead of Sunday’s meeting with Nottingham Forest.
