Jake Paul can officially turn his attention to Mike Tyson after taking his professional boxing record to 10-1 with victory in yet another mismatch.

Paul fought American mixed martial artist and bare knuckle boxer Mike Perry in a cruiserweight boxing fight on Sunday (AEST) in Tampa Florida.

Paul was clearly the better fighter, landing knockdowns in the first and second rounds and he was cruising to victory in the eight-round lightweight bout.

Perry put up a fight but let his hands hang too low, allowing Paul to land plenty of strong bodyshots.

Ultimately, Perry copped one too many knockdowns and the referee called a stop to the contest midway through the sixth round — handing Paul victory via TKO.

“There is a new king of violence,” DAZN commentator Todd Grisham said.

“It honestly defies logic that he is still standing,” Ariel Helwani said.

“(Perry’s) His only hope is to be as dirty as possible and it might not be enough.”

The YouTuber’s much anticipated clash with the 58-year-old Tyson was delayed until November due to the boxing icon’s medical emergency in May.

Massive KO rocks undercard

The Jake Paul undercard has been rocked by a brutal knockout in the fight between Lucas Bahdi and Ashton ‘H20’ Sylve.

Sylve had been dominating the fight and was on track to win via decision, when Bahdi unleashed a brutal right hand punch to Sylve’s face.

The blow sent Sylve crashing to the canvas and his body seized up.

The DAZN commentator exclaimed: “Knockout of the year contender. Lucas Bahdi just eviscerated Ashton Sylve.”

Ariel Helwani added: “Holy smokes. He was losing every minute of every round.”

Helwani described the scenes on social media as “insane”.

Veteran boxing analyst Dan Rafael wrote on X: “OH MY!! 135 Lucas Bahdi, losing every second of every round, just DESTROYED Ashton Sylve with one massive shot face first in rd 6. GOOD NIGHT!!!!!!!!

“Jesus what a KO. That may be KO of the year.

“Sylve will never be the same after that KO. It was that bad.”

Sylve was attended to in the ring by paramedics, and it took several minutes for him to get to his feet.

Before the fight’s result was read out in Bahdi’s favour, the in-ring announcer asked the crowd to applaud Sylve and said “may God restore him”.
