Behind the scenes footage from the explosive second Ashes Test that played out at Lord’s last year has poured fuel on the fiery feud between Australia and England.
And if you’re an English fan, you might want to look away.
The Test was thrown into chaos when Jonny Bairstow decided to go for a walk down the pitch on the fifth day only to be stumped by Alex Carey.

Carey’s throw came within a fraction after he’d collected the ball in his gloves following a Cameron Green bouncer with Bairstow sent on his way after a review by the third umpire.
The incident became the biggest talking point the world over as tensions exploded between the two nations.
Lord’s went from being the mild-mannered home of cricket, to looking more like the Colosseum during ancient Roman times as the locals turned on the touring Aussie squad.
In the third series of Amazon Prime’s The Test, set to be released on May 24, behind the scenes footage has shed further light on the fallout to the series-defining moment.
The English faithful erupted into a chorus of boos as ‘out’ flashed on the big screen, but inside the Australian dressing rooms an injured Nathan Lyon was seen revelling in what had just unfolded.
“That’s just blatantly out,” Lyon said laughing on the second episode of The Test.
“Oh that’s made my calf feel better. Suck eggs.”
The Lord’s crowd didn’t take long to return fire on the Aussies as they began chanting “same old Aussies, always cheating”.
Then Stuart Broad strolled to the crease and he took the already fired up crowd to new heights with his antics.
“When Broady started going the crowd just got on top of it,” Usman Khawaja said.
“That’s when it really started to escalate.”
Matt Renshaw added: “After that it was just absolute carnage.”
But as the session continued and the crowd grew more volatile, it was what unfolded next that stole the limelight.
Tensions boiled over in Lords’ famed Long Room as the Aussies made their way through into the dressing rooms.
A heated confrontation unfolded as patrons took aim at Khawaja with security being forced to step in and separate the two parties.
“One of the MCC members started spraying me,” Khawaja recalled.
“I was like nah you can’t be saying that stuff and he was like ‘I can say whatever I f***ng want’, like that sense of entitlement almost.
“There was probably three of them that called out but one of them was really inappropriate.”
One MCC member was handed a life ban while another two copped suspensions over the ugly display.
Footage from inside the dressing rooms then rolls as the Aussie players discuss the heated scenes that just took place.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of grown old as men, like one bloke was foaming at the mouth,” Marnus Labuschagne said.
“A bloke kicked bull (David Warner) as he was going up the stairs.”
Khawaja added in disbelief: “We’re at Lord’s.”
Aussie squad member Marcus Harris opened up on an encounter that took place on the boundary line with a fired up local.
“They were kicking off over the fence and I was like you wrote the rules you f***ing idiot, it’s not our fault,” he said as the rest of the Aussies erupt.
The fire was still raging for Bairstow as he walked into the lunch room and came face-to-face with the Aussies.
But it was Pat Cummins who delivered the parting shot when recalling Broad’s comment after he had strolled out to the wicket.
“He said ‘that’s what you’ll be remembered for, I can’t believe you’ve done that’ and I’m like oh Broady because you’re such an upstanding citizen mate aren’t ya,” Cummins says.
While Australia ultimately went on to win the second Test, the vitriol in the direction of the squad continued long after the final wicket had fallen.
“The ensuing furore was as intense as I’ve ever experienced,” Gerard Whateley says.
Despite the fire burning intensely for the Poms, it was Australia who departed with the Ashes in hand.
The third season of The Test will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 24.
