Cricket’s biggest rival reignites on Saturday evening when Pakistan takes on neighbours India in the Asia Cup group stage.
Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, are coming off a thumping 238-run victory over Nepal, while India will be desperate to start their Asia Cup campaign with a win.
However, Sri Lanka’s weather is threatening to spoil the party, with rain predicted to fall on Kandy this evening.
MATCH CENTRE: Pakistan vs India, Asia Cup scorecard
Pakistan was originally slated to host the entire tournament, but all matches involving India were moved to Sri Lanka due to political tensions and security concerns.
The match is scheduled to get underway at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium at 7.30pm AEST.
