RCB won the tos s and they ask SRH to bat first.Travis Head cracked the fourth-fastest ton in IPL history while wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen smashed a fiery half-century as SRH posted 287 for 3 playing against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), which is also the second-highest total in T20 cricket. On March 27, SRH smashed a sensational 277/3 against Mumbai Indians to reset the previous record.

Wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen, however, kept punishing the RCB bowlers, scoring a 31-ball 67, studded with seven sixes as SRH batters made merry on a docile Chinnaswamy pitch. Aiden Markram (37 not out off 17 balls ) and Abdul Samad (37 not out off 10 balls) gave SRH innings the finishing touch.

In reply Despite a strong half-century from Dinesh Karthik and a blazing partnership between captain Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fell short in their chase of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) 288-run target. RCB managed to score 262/7 in their allotted overs in the match held in Bengaluru on Monday. Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 25 runs

Following this defeat, RCB finds themselves at the bottom of the table with just one victory in seven matches
