It’s been another sensational weekend of football, as both Arsenal and Manchester City suffered surprise defeats in the Premier League and Lionel Messi produced another moment of genius.

With Arsenal losing at Everton, City had an opportunity to cut the gap at the top to just two points, but they fell victim to Harry Kane’s record-breaking goal for Tottenham.

Elsewhere, Manchester United won again and Liverpool suffered another thumping away defeat. There were also plenty of thrills and spills across the leagues as the shortest month of the year creaked into gear.
