New Liverpool manager Arne Slot is preparing to take charge of the club after the departure of Jurgen Klopp.
Slot would want to keep the core of the team same and he would be hoping to get assistance from the senior players at the club to oversee the transition phase.
However, one of Liverpool’s key players could leave the club as he is open to listening to new proposal from potential buyers.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is ready to listen to new offer despite his intention to continue his career in Europe amid Saudi Pro League rumours.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has been one of Liverpool’s most important players in their success under Klopp.
Along with Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk, Alisson has been a key member of the Reds and has helped guide the club to Premier League and Champions League titles.
Since joining the club back in 2018 for a fee of £66.8 million (via BBC), the former Roma goalkeeper has established himself as one of the best players in the world.
The journalist posted on X:
“Allison Becker remains among the main targets for the Saudi League, all confirmed. The monster offer to convince the Brazilian will be formalised soon.
“The Liverpool GK prefers to stay in Europe, but is also open to listening to the proposal.”

The Merseyside club would not have tasted this success without the presence of goalkeeper Alisson.
He currently has three years left on his contract at Anfield and the club have no intention of selling him.
Liverpool cannot afford to lose Alisson
Despite his decision to listen to offer from the Saudi Pro League, Slot will surely do everything in his power to keep Alisson at the club.
He provides them with a calm influence at the back and his shot stopping and distribution ability makes the team build up play from the back.
Not many goalkeepers in world football are better than the 31-year-old goalkeeper right now.
Alisson still has a lot to give to the Reds and the fans would be hoping he stays for a long time at Anfield.
