Borussia Dortmund, as well as other German teams Freiburg and Augsburg, reportedly showed late interest in signing Joel Piroe from Swansea City, according to Wales Online.
According to the article, teams like Everton, Forest, Leicester, and Southampton had all expressed interest in the former PSV player. After selling Rasmus Hojlund to Manchester United, also Atalanta joined them.
