As reported by Patrick Berger of Sport1, Borussia Dortmund’s Thorgan Hazard will today complete his move to PSV on loan. However, this does not include an option to buy as previously suggested.
Hazard (29) is already on his way to the Netherlands to undergo a medical where he will then sign a contract to join PSV on loan for the remainder of the season. Despite no purchase option, this can still be seen as a good deal for BVB, who no longer have to pay the Belgian’s salary for the next five months.
Despite a loan move, it’s still unclear as to what will happen with Hazard in the summer. The Belgium international has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2024 but also came close to departing the Signal Iduna Park club last summer.
Hazard joined Borussia Dortmund from Borussia Mönchengladbach in July 2019 for €25m and has played 122 games across all competitions, scoring 18 and creating 21.
