All of the big sides were kept apart in the draw for the FA Cup quarter finals.
Manchester City cruised through with a 3-0 win over Bristol City, while Brighton also despatched of Championship opposition in the shape of Stoke City.
However, there were a couple of notable shocks, second-tier Blackburn Rovers sending Premier League Leicester packing, while League 2 Grimbsy – the lowest-ranked team remaining in the competition – delivered the shock of the round beating Southampton.
Manchester United, fresh off the back of their Carabao Cup triumph at the weekend came from behind to beat West Ham, while Spurs were knocked out by a late Sheffield United winner.
