There were some unforgettable goals scored in the FA Cup third round over the weekend, with the cup clashes delivering some truly stunning strikes.
We’ve looked at five brilliant goals scored in the FA Cup third round.
Pedro Porro (Tottenham)
Tottenham required a moment of magic to edge past Burnley in the third round, as Pedro Porro’s wonderful drive earned the North Londoners a 1-0 win on Friday evening.
A tightly-contested tie had been goalless until the Spaniard’s stunning strike, as Porro – who has taken 33 shots in the Premier League without scoring this season – let fly from distance to find the top corner.
A cracker against the Clarets, from a player who’s enjoying his football under Ange Postecoglou this season.
OH MY 🤯

James McAtee
James McAtee scored a late brace as Sheffield United progressed to the FA Cup fourth round. The on-loan Manchester City midfielder was at the centre of a 4-0 win over Gillingham for the Blades, scoring twice in four second-half minutes to seal the win.
‘The Salford Silva’s’ second was magic moment from McAtee, who exchanged passes with Gustavo Hamer during a quickly-taken corner routine and lashed a fine finish into the far corner.

Kasey Palmer
Kasey Palmer scored a screamer as Coventry hit Oxford United for six in the third round. The Chelsea academy graduate spun smartly near the centre circle, before driving forward into space and launching a howitzer past Simon Eastwood as the Sky Blues scored three times inside the opening 17 minutes.
Utterly unsaveable from the 27-year-old.
Pick that out 🤯

Patrick Bamford
Patrick Bamford has had to cope with a fringe role at Leeds United this season. The club’s one-time talisman has made just one start in the Championship under Daniel Farke, but was handed a rare outing as Leeds took on Peterborough in cup competition this weekend.
Bamford did his hopes of more minutes no harm with arguably the goal of the FA Cup third-round weekend.
Control. Swivel. Bang.
SIMPLY. BREATHTAKING.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)
Nottingham Forest were forced to fightback from two goals down to earn a replay against Blackpool, with Nuno Espirito’s Side struggling against the League Two side.
It required a thunderous strike from Morgan Gibbs-White to earn Forest a 2-2 draw, sent into the top corner with postage-stamp precision.
Pick that out.
