“It Would Be The Best Solution”

Manchester City and Arsenal are the two Premier League clubs most “suitable” for Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to his former coach.

Speaking to FootballTransfers.com, Gela Davitadze (who worked with Kvaratskhelia at Dinamo Batumi), said that the Georgian international would be a great addition to either team:

“For this situation, if he goes to the Premier League, it would be the best solution for him. A team like Manchester City or Arsenal would be very suitable. Aside from the Premier League, I think Barcelona would also be a suitable destination for him. But I want him to join the Premier League and watch him play against the best teams…”

“Manchester City’s style is suitable for Khvicha. City play amazing football with Pep Guardiola and I think in City, Khvicha would be one of the best players. I know City have very good players in this position like [Jack] Grealish and [Jeremy] Doku, I respect them but I think he could be even better and he could give even more.”

Is Kvaratskhelia on the market this summer?

Napoli are said to be desperate to keep the 23-year-old at the club, but intermediaries for the player have reportedly been offering him around, with the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool having been approached.

Considering his team’s stance, though, it is likely to take a bid in excess of £100m to convince Napoli into selling Kvaratskhelia.

City are about to sign a winger

It is expected that Savio will be confirmed as a Manchester City player very soon. The Brazilian, who spent last season with Girona, is set to join from Troyes on a long-term contract.

With Savio, Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish and Oscar Bobb available to Guardiola, there really isn’t any need to splash out on another wide player at the moment.

However, if Kvaratskhelia does become available in the future, it is very likely that the Cityzens would contemplate making a bid, considering the level of talent he possesses.
