Joao Cancelo and Sadio Mane are expected to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season as Thomas Tuchel rebuilds his squad.

Cancelo signed on loan for Bayern from Manchester City during the January transfer window and the Bundesliga side have an option to make the move permanent for a fee €70m. However, the Germans are not willing to meet that figure and Cancelo looks set to return to the Etihad, before a decision is made on his future.

The Portugal international was booed on his return to the club in the Champions League quarter-finals and has been tentatively linked with Arsenal and Barcelona in recent weeks.

Sky Sports are reporting that Mane will also be allowed to leave. The 31-year-old arrived in an initial £27.5m deal from Liverpool last summer but has struggled to make the desired impact at the Allianz Arena.

The Senegal international has scored 12 goals in all competitions, but his future has been uncertain since he was involved in an altercation with teammate Leroy Sane following Bayern’s Champions League defeat at Manchester City in April.

He is expected to be moved on this summer as Tuchel rebuilds his side, with the Bayern boss having used the forward sporadically since his arrival in Munich.
