Harry Kane’s potential move to Manchester United will inordinately depend on Karim Benzema, with Real Madrid reportedly prioritizing signing Kane should Karim Benzema leave this summer.

Karim Benzema’s transfer to Saudi Arabia is a deal only left to be sealed. The French international has been offered a whopping £86million-per-season by Al Ittihad – arch rivals of Ronaldo’s Al Nassr. His exit could disrupt the transfer plans of many including Manchester United. The Red Devils have been chasing England captain and Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane for quite a while now and were ready to pay him a sum of around £100 million. However, with Benzema’s exit things could get ugly for Erik ten Hag’s squad as Los Blancos will now try and find a perfect substitute for Karim Benzema.

The Red Devils were looking one of the favourites to get hold of Harry Kane with Erik Ten Hag adamant about signing a prolific goalscorer to help boost their chance of fighting for the Premier League title.

Manchester United however will continue their pursuit of signing Harry Kane with English players like Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, and Jadon Sancho helping their cause.

Man United needs Harry Kane as much as he needs silverware. The Red Devils have expressed their capability of winning a title after winning the Carabao Cup this season which if accompanied with a win against Man City in the FA Cup final will hold Kane’s transfer in their favour. However, it will still heavily depend on Benzema and his future. There are mixed reports of the Frenchman wanting to leave because of heavy wages but also wanting to stay and retire as a Real Madrid legend.

Manchester United have been proactive in their approach and already have sights of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Portuguese international Goncalo Ramos who is currently playing for Benfica.
