Early United dominance was rewarded in the 21st minute when Antony scored a fine goal.
The ball was worked from left to right, where the Brazilian cut inside and curled a 20-yard shot into the top corner.
United had an opportunity to score a second but Fred’s 30-yard free-kick crashed into a post as it remained 1-0 at half-time.
United killed the game at the death when Marcus Rashford scored for the sixth game in a row.
And two minutes later Rashford got his second and his side’s third.
