Milan will face another Italian team in the quarterfinals of the Europa League, as they are set to take on Roma.

The Rossoneri beat Slavia Praha 7-3 on aggregate (4-2 and 3-1 wins) to qualify for the Quarterfinals of the Europa League and today the draw took place.

Milan have been drawn against fellow Serie A side Roma, who currently sit 5th in the league, and who beat Premier League Brighton 4-1 on aggregate in the last round (4-0 win at Stadio Olimpico and 1-0 defeat at Falmer Stadium.

1st leg is on April 11, and the return on April 18. The Diavolo have already beaten Roma twice this season in the league, and so Stefano Pioli finds a familiar opponent, although the other coach on the sidelines has since been replaced, with José Mourinho sacked and Daniele De Rossi taking over.

Milan have avoided Europa League favorites Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen in this round. However, should they progress to the semi-finals, they would play the winners between Bayer and West Ham.
