Mehdi Taremi could very soon become a new player of Milan but there are still some details to sort out with Porto.

Milan are looking for one final signing this summer and they want Taremi from Porto.

Talks have intensified in the last days and the agreement between the clubs is close, but not fully there yet.

In the afternoon there seemed to be an agreement in principle between Milan and Porto for Taremi, for a fee of €15m plus bonuses.

However, as reported by Milannews.it, after the Diavolo sent their official offer, Porto replied to the email and changed the conditions of the deal. Sky Italia suggests that it’s matters related to the bonuses and the payment methods offered by the Rossoneri. The sides are now working to bridge the gaps and find a complete and total understanding.

Milan are still hopeful to close everything and they are in a rush because of the bureaucratic times it takes to register a non-EU player, which are longer than usual. The transfer market ends on Friday night at 20:00 CEST and Milan want to get Taremi in Italy as soon as possible.

The 31-year-old has meanwhile agreed a three-year contract with Milan and according to Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedullà, it’s a deal worth €2.8-3m per season. More updates are expected during the night.

Giorgio Furlani would like to get Stefano Pioli a striker who can alternative with Olivier Giroud. Should Taremi arrive, Lorenzo Colombo will join Monza on loan for one season.
