MANSFIELD — In all, nine Richland County girls soccer players picked up All-Mid-Buckeye Conference honors for the 2023 season.
Five Crestview Cougars and four Mansfield Christian Flames made the list. Crestview’s Gracie Dinsmore, Lily Cline and Devon Hickey were selected to the first team as Dinsmore had one assist but stood out defensively for the Cougars. Cline had one goal and one assist, and Hickey was the leading scorer with five goals and three assists.
They were joined by Olivia Grant and Elyse Belcher, who both picked up second-team honors.
Layna Chase and Kelem Klotzbach were first-team selections for the Flames. Chase led the Flames with four goals and two assists, and Klotzbach had one goal. Erin Hope took second-team honors while Adiran Clary was an honorable mention.
