Luka Romero is officially a part of Stefano Pioli’s squad and he’ll wear the #18 jersey.

After announcing Marco Sportiello and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Milan today confirmed their third signing of the summer – 18-year-old Luka Romero.

The Argentine attacker, who can play as a right-winger, trequartista and left-winger, ended his contract with Lazio at the end of last month, and Milan decided that he is the right profile to join the squad of Pioli.

A statement on the website of Milan reads:

Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Luka Romero Bezzana. The Argentinian midfielder has signed a deal with the Club lasting until 30 June 2027.

Born in Victoria de Durango (Mexico) on 18 November 2004, Luka started his career in RCD Mallorca’s youth system and made his professional debut with the club in June 2020, before going on to make nine appearances and score one goal for the first team. He moved to Italy to join Lazio in 2021 where he made 21 appearances and scored one goal.

“Luka Romero will wear the number 18 shirt.” Romero will start training with the Diavolo on July 10th, as Milan begin pre-season next Monday.
