Filippo Terracciano has officially put pen to paper and signed for Milan.

Milan have been struggling with injuries in defense and have decided to strengthen themselves with 20-year-old Terracciano.

The Italian defender, who can also play in midfield, arrives from Hellas Verona on for €4.5 million, and after undergoing the medical-checks, he today went to Casa Milan to sign the contract.

“Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Filippo Terracciano from Hellas Verona FC on a permanent transfer. The Italian defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2028,” a statement reads.

“Born in Verona on February 8, 2003, Terracciano progressed through the youth ranks of Hellas Verona, the club with which he made his debut in the First Team on December 15, 2021, in the Coppa Italia match Hellas Verona v Empoli. His Serie A debut followed shortly after on March 20, 2022, in the 1-1 draw against Empoli. He has made 39 appearances in the league, including 18 in the current season. On November 19, 2022, after progressing through the Azzurri national youth teams, he made his debut with the Under-21 national team in a friendly match against Germany.

“Filippo Terracciano will wear the number 38.” Terracciano is Milan’s first signing of January but is likely to not be the last.
