Borussia Dortmund remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season but they face arguably their toughest test yet when they host Wolfsburg at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon, kick-off 15:30 local time.

Edin Terzic is expected to make further changes to the team that lost against PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Kicker suggests that Dortmund could revert back to a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 after playing a 5-3-2 against the French side, which could see Marius Wolf dropping to the bench and Niklas Süle switching to right-back with Julian Ryerson on the other flank. Mats Hummels, who scored a brace against Freiburg last weekend, is expected to partner Nico Schlotterbeck in central defender.

In midfield, Borussia Dortmund are without Marcel Sabitzer, which means we could see Marco Reus start for the first time since the opening weekend. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kicker have Karim Adeyemi, who is yet to score this season, dropping to the bench with Jamie Bynoe-Gittens starting. The Englishman impressed when he came on against PSG in midweek.

Terzic decided against starting both Niclas Füllkrug and Sébastien Haller in midweek but missing that focal point in attack, expect to see Füllkrug return to the starting XI with Haller being an option from the bench.

Gio Reyna also featured in Dortmund’s matchday squad for the first time this season in midweek and it’s quite possible that the American could get further minutes this weekend from the bench.

Predicted Borussia Dortmund XI vs Wolfsburg

Gregor Kobel – Niklas Süle, Mats Hummels, Nico Schlotterbeck, Julian Ryerson – Emre Can, Julian Brandt, Marco Reus – Donyell Malen, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens – Niclas Füllkrug.
