Birmingham City defender Rebecca Holloway will miss Northern Ireland’s Women’s Nations League play-off with Montenegro through injury.

The 28-year-old, who signed for Birmingham in January, has returned to the club for treatment.

Cliftonville’s Toni-Leigh Finnegan has been called into Tanya Oxtoby’s squad.

Northern Ireland travel to Podgorica for the first leg on Friday, 23 February before the second leg at Windsor Park on Tuesday, 27 February.

Oxtoby’s side will be looking to retain their place in League B after finishing third in their group behind the Republic of Ireland and Hungary.

Montenegro finished second in League C3 behind Azerbaijan to reach the play-off.

Finnegan, 21, who can play in defence or midfield, is the fourth returning face to the Northern Ireland squad along with goalkeeper Lauren Perry and defensive duo Rachel Dugdale and Kelsie Burrows.
