The dust has not even settled on the season and recent DFB Pokal final but the draw for the first round of next season’s addition has already been made.
Next season’s Super Cup participants Bayer Leverkusen and VfB Stuttgart will play their ties on the 27-28 August due to the Super Cup taking place on the same weekend:

The rest of the draw will take place on the 16-19th of August. The most notable tie of the first round could be called the ‘Uli Hoeneß’ derby as Bayern Munich travel to Ulm, who also have a partnership with Bayern.
