Tottenham have rejected Bayern Munich’s latest offer for Harry Kane.

According to David Ornstein, Bayern’s latest bid was £25m (€29.9m) short of Tottenham’s valuation of Kane, who is in the final year of his contract at the Premier League club. Bayern’s latest approach came after they saw their opening offer of €70m plus add-ons for Kane rejected in June before a second offer was rebuffed last week.

Bayern Munich’s latest offer for Kane (30) surpassed €100m including bonuses. This came after CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe were in London last Monday to conduct talks with Spurs’ Daniel Levy. Although an agreement wasn’t found that day, reports suggest that talks between both parties were positive.

It’s unclear as to where Bayern Munich go from here. Sport1’s Kerry Hau reported that the club’s latest offer was their final approach. That suggests that the Rekordmeister may pursue other targets, having shown a previous interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani, who had a breakout campaign last season.

Kane’s willingness to join Bayern Munich this summer could see the club make another approach, despite reports suggesting that the above was their final offer.
