Liverpool have apparently decided to focus on Enzo Fernandez over Jude Bellingham, with Man City chasing the Dortmund midfielder and his England team-mate…

LIVERPOOL FOCUS ON FERNANDEZ
Liverpool are looking to ‘give up’ on Jude Bellingham, apparently…

The Reds are among the favourites to sign the England midfielder, who looks set to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer. Jurgen Klopp has courted Bellingham since he moved to Germany in 2020 from Birmingham.

But Marca says Liverpool have gone cold on the teenager, instead switching their focus to Enzo Fernandez.

Benfica star Ferdandez has been instrumental in Argentina’s run to the World Cup final, but some reports suggest Liverpool have moved decisively, perhaps even reaching a pre-contract agreement with the 21-year-old.

Part of the reason the Reds have shifted their focus to Fernandez is the cost associated with signing either player. Liverpool would have to fork out around £77million for the Argentine whereas Bellingham is likely to move for £130million.

CITY EYE ENGLAND DUO
Manchester City have no qualms paying such a figure for Bellingham. And the Premier League champions want to sign one of his England team-mates too…

According to 90min, City are making plans to recruit Bukayo Saka as well as the Dortmund teenager. Pep Guardiola has a long-standing interest in the Arsenal winger, who is yet to agree a new deal with the Gunners.

Arsenal are willing to make Saka their highest-paid player but the academy graduate is stalling on committing his future to the club beyond 2024. If the situation remains the same heading into the summer, then City will make a decisive move for the 21-year-old.

MAN UTD TARGET FANCIES PSG
Arsenal are among the clubs to have been offered the chance to sign Joao Felix. Manchester United are also known to be keen on the Atletico Madrid forward.

But Felix seems to have other ideas. Gianluca Di Marzio says the Portugal star fancies joining PSG.

We’re sure he does. Though given the fact he can’t get in the Atletico side right now, we’d love to hear how he intends to break up a front three of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.

KUDUS COULD YET JOIN EVERTON
Mohammed Kudus shone for Ghana at the World Cup. So much so that we thought the Ajax midfielder had put himself out of Everton’s reach. Apparently not…

The Toffees tried to sign Kudus during the summer but their offers fell on deaf ears while Ajax coped with other exits. Their interest remains, and there remains a prospect of a deal being agreed.

Kudus is said to have informed Ajax of his desire to leave next month and Ghanian journo Gary Al-Smith has told Sky Sports that Everton are still in with a chance of landing the 22-year-old, but Tottenham are also sniffing too.
