The Premier League is considered to be the toughest and the most physical league in the world owing to the intense playing styles of all the teams involved in the competition. Players are seen hitting the gym after training sessions to cope with the physical nature of the game as it is not only seen in the domestic competition but also in European competitions.

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is the latest Premier League player to undergo an incredible physical transformation as the Englishman’s trainer recently took to social media to reveal this remarkable feat he managed in just 6 months.

His trainer James Ralph captioned the post saying, “As soon as he was, and was able to commit to the long term plan, his results have sky rocketed  on all fronts – strength, power and speed. Always a pleasure to work with, Trevoh has been through so much to get to where he is now. Multiple loans, played in various positions and often thrown in and excelling after periods of not being involved.”

The center back is seen with a complete transformation as he his commitment in the gym has paid off considerably. The young defender certainly lacked a physical dimension to his game which he has now worked on and will be a great defending quality in the long term for him.

Chalobah has played a bit-part role for the Blues this season as he has managed to start just 12 starts in all competitions accumulating just over 1100 minutes so far. Certainly the amount of squad depth the Blues have in his position is one of the major factors as the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile all are competing with the 23 year old for a spot in the starting XI.

The recent switch to a back 3 by Graham Potter hasn’t helped the Cobham graduate to still try and cement a place in the starting XI despite him making late substitute cameos. Maybe a loan in the summer could be ideal for the player who signed a contract extension until June 2028 last season if the recent lack of minutes continue until the end of the season.
