Bild reports that VfB Stuttgart striker Sehrou Guirassy has rejected an offer to join Fulham in the Premier League.
Fulham are looking for a replacement for Alexander Mitrovic who moved to Saudi Arabia for €50m and the London club looked at the possibility of signing Guirassy but the project at the club is not of interest to the 27-year-old. The 27-year-old has previously stated his desire to play in the Premier League.
Guirassy is said to be comfortable in Stuttgart and is one of the top earners at the club. Due to his contract also expiring in 2026, the price for the striker has deterred suitors. Guirassy previously had a release clause in his contract worth €15m but the clause expired 10 days ago.
The Guinean started the season off strongly as he scored twice as Stuttgart beat Bochum 5-0 in their opening game of the season.
With Guirassy pledging his future to Stuttgart, it will give the club a huge boost after the departures of key players Wataru Endo (Liverpool) and Konstantinos Mavropanos (West Ham).
