CR7 built on his impressive Portugal form upon his return to Saudi Arabia.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace for Al Nassr in their 5-0 thrashing of Al Adalah.
The 38-year-old returned from international duty, where he scored four goals in two games for Portugal. He started for Al Nassr when they travelled to Al Adalah for their 22nd league game of the season.
Ronaldo converted a penalty for the visitors to put them ahead in the 40th minute. A fantastic attacking display from Al Nassr in the second half ensured their victory as Ronaldo completed his brace in the 66th minute.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner left an Al Adalah defender in the dust before rifling a precise left-foot shot past the keeper.
The strike took Ronaldo’s total tally at Al Nassr to 11 goals in nine league appearances. Following a difficult start to the season at Manchester United, CR7 seems to have regained his best form at the Saudi Pro League club.
The victory against Al Adalah helped Al Nassr stay within touching distance of league leaders Al Ittihad. Al Hilal, who have intensified their efforts to sign Lionel Messi in recent days, are seven points behind Al Nassr in the third spot.
Ronaldo and co will continue their league campaign with a match against Al Feiha on Sunday.
