Manchester City are not considering selling Jack Grealish this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Responding to reports that Chelsea are interested in the England international, Romano said in his Daily Briefing that he has heard nothing about a potential transfer:
“I’m also aware there have been some slightly surprising links with Jack Grealish. However, I have zero information on this – Manchester City are not discussing Grealish’s future, not even internally at this point of the season. It’s all quiet.”
The majority of supporters on X are keen on keeping Grealish at the Etihad beyond the end of this season:
They won’t sell him. Specially to Chelsea

Jack isn’t going anywhere and if you want him to, then find a new club to be a fan of because you ain’t a fan of this one.

Perfect. We’re not even considering selling him, that’s what I like to hear. This man is crucial for us, he won’t be leaving any time soon 🩵🩵🩵🩵

Grealish has struggled to make an impact this campaign
The 28-year-old hasn’t exactly been firing on all cylinders for the City in recent months, and his return of 3 goals and 3 assists in 35 appearances is pretty poor.
Grealish has had his fitness issues that have prevented him from performing at his peak level but you do expect a lot more from the club’s record signing.
City’s summer transfer plans
With the futures of Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne uncertain, the subject of selling Grealish is unlikely to be high on the agenda for Director of Football Txiki Begiristain.
Of course, circumstances can change but, for now, it seems clear that City have no intention of allowing the City winger to leave.
