Speaking to Fabrizio RomanoYoussoufa Moukoko’s agent has confirmed that the striker will look to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer.

On the 19-year-old’s future, his agent said: “I say BVB is making a mistake in giving Youssoufa away. With so little playing time, everyone will know that Youssoufa’s market value will be low and Dortmund can’t expect much. We wanted it to be different, but that’s the football business. Youssoufa is totally clear in his mind, extremely focused and knows what he wants to drive his career forward. Now we are sounding out interest from England, Spain and France”.

Bild reports that Dortmund will not put any obstacles in the way of Moukoko if he is willing to leave the club. This will help Dortmund’s striker situation as they currently have four senior options after the arrival of Serhou Guirassy earlier this summer.

Due to a clause in his contract, Moukoko now earns €8.5m which is more than Niclas Füllkrug. If he is to leave, Premier League clubs will be able to pay this wage but if Moukoko moves somewhere else he Europe, he will likely have to take a pay cut.

Last season, Moukoko struggled to earn a starting place under Edin Terzic, playing a total of 27 games across all competitions but only starting six times.
