Paula Badosa is gearing up for a run at the Cup.
Badosa joined her teammates on the Spanish squad in Glasgow, Scotland for next week’s Billie Jean King Cup finals.
The 2021 Indian Wells champion joins Nuria Párrizas, Cristina Bucsa, Aliona Bolsova and Rebeka Masarova on captain Anabel Medina Garrigues’ team.

No. 3-seeded Spain headlines Group C which includes Kazakhstan and Great Britain.
The Billie Jean King Cup Finals feature 12 teams squaring off in four round-robin groups of three nations. Group winners advance to the semifinals.
Spain faces a challenging opener on Wednesday against a Kazakhstan squad led by Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina and feisty Yulia Putintseva.
Host Great Britain is without 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu.
Heather Watson, Harriet Dart and Katie Boulter comprise captain Anne Keothavong’s British team. Great Britain opens against Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
